The “Settings” section can be accessed from the “Moments” and “Explore” section by clicking on  .

From the “Settings” section, users will be able to:

  • Update the firmware
  • Send feedback about the iO 360 app
  • Contact support

Firmware update

The firmware version of the Giroptic iO can be checked and updated if necessary by connecting the camera and selecting “Firmware update” under the “Settings” section.

If the firmware is already up to date, the user will be prompted the following screen:The  “Update now” option will otherwise be offered to the user to initiate the firmware upgrade. Make sure not to disconnect the camera during the process! The app will display a confirmation message once the upgrade completed.
